On April 25, 2025, representatives from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Municipal Federation of Overseas Chinese, European overseas Chinese leaders, and entrepreneurs from all walks of life visited the Lianyungang Sino-Europe Sci&Tech Industrial Park for investigation and research. The leaders of the Municipal Federation of Overseas Chinese held the unveiling ceremony of the "Overseas Chinese Industry Technology Integration Innovation Center" in the park.

More than 50 European overseas Chinese leaders who visited and inspected came from countries such as Italy, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Hungary, and Austria. The representatives of overseas Chinese leaders had a deep understanding of the industrial development foundation and investment policies of Haizhou District, conducted on-site inspections of the factory buildings and supporting facilities of Sino-Europe Sci&Tech Industrial Park, listened to the introduction of the basic situation of the park, and visited the interior of the factory buildings. Overseas Chinese leaders highly recognize the image and quality of the industrial park's factory buildings, and hope to use the park as a development platform to gather the strength of European overseas Chinese and attract more European small and medium-sized enterprises and overseas Chinese to take root and develop in the park.

In April 2023, Italy's Ouchao Group established the Lianyungang Sino-Europe Sci&Tech Industrial Park in Haizhou District, Lianyungang, with a total planned area of 600 acres and three phases of development, with a total investment of 500 million US dollars. The first phase of the project has built 22 high standard factories with a construction area of approximately 120000 square meters. Currently, 20 production-oriented enterprises have been invited to settle in and renovate, including 5 foreign-funded and overseas Chinese enterprises. The park relies on the advantageous location, industrial foundation, and policy orientation of Lianyungang to attract the transfer and integration of European small and medium-sized manufacturing industries and domestic high-quality enterprises. It can provide innovation and entrepreneurship platforms such as production workshops, office buildings, and research and development centers for domestic and foreign small and medium-sized enterprises in various areas.

At the unveiling ceremony, the leaders of the Municipal Overseas Chinese Federation emphasized that the park should focus on the overall economic development, make good use of the advantages and resources of overseas Chinese businessmen, further consolidate the wisdom and strength of overseas Chinese, and inject new vitality into serving innovation and driving development for domestic and foreign enterprises.

Ye Xulang, Chairman of Lianyungang Sino-Europe Sci&Tech Industrial Park, welcomes representatives of European overseas Chinese who have come from afar to visit and exchange ideas in Lianyungang. The park will fully leverage its role as a bridge and link between the "Overseas Chinese Industry and Technology Integration Innovation Center". Under the high tariff barriers of the United States, strengthening close ties between Chinese and European enterprises is of practical significance. The park will meet the actual development needs of Chinese and European enterprises, provide higher quality services for overseas Chinese and foreign businessmen to innovate and start businesses in Lianyungang, and contribute to the economic development of Lianyungang.
